The former drug queenpin is cornered, and what’s the best place to be if not home when you have lost everything? Jackie’s plan to take down the Koss Brothers did not go as planned in episode 4, which resulted in Jackie getting almost shot and Sam being abducted by Karenina.
Jackie escapes, but she ends up losing all her money and her support from Markel. Exhausted, broke, and injured, to Jackie, the best course of action at the moment would be to retreat, gather herself, and come back stronger. So, she makes her way to Wales, to her home.
She arrives at a rundown house in the back of a truck. It looks like her childhood home, where she once enjoyed being around a normal family. She goes to her room and finds a box hidden in the drawer, but she doesn’t open it. She takes a look around the house and finds that someone has been living here.
Jackie goes out the back and finds someone hiding in an old makeshift trunk. She pulls out a man who turns out to be her father. Instead of feeling relieved, Jackie is furious and curses her old man for ruining her childhood home. She’s angry that he has been crashing at a house she bought and turned it into a dumpster. She then inquires about the villa she bought him, but Jackie immediately understands that her father gambled it away too.
While she’s confronting her dad, Jackie hears noises coming from the house and finds two guys and a girl breaking things. They are debt collectors of sorts for a local gangster named Dai. Jackie’s father owes him 50 quid, but the girl makes it clear that it’s not about the money; rather, it’s about Dai’s reputation, and he will tear Jackie’s dad in two if he doesn’t pay up.

A family reunion
With nothing to resist, Jackie and her dad are tied up while they wait for Dai. As they sit and awkwardly stare at each other, one of the guys takes out weed to smoke while they kill time. However, Jackie taunts them for smoking such a cheap product and not expanding their horizons. She further fuels them by stating that she knows stuff that will take them on a real ride, and it’s called Afghan Black. Jackie tells them she has some stashed in her room, and they fall for it.
The guys end up getting high on the drugs, but the girl knows Jackie is trying to dull their senses so she can make a run for it. As they talk about life-altering decisions, the girl shares that she made her first major decision when she was eleven: she ran from home and came here to meet her ‘bamps.’ This piece of information catches Jackie’s attention, and she asks which year it was when she ran from home.
The girl calls Jackie’s father bamps and asks him what year it was when she came to him. Jackie is shocked and can’t imagine why a random girl would call Jackie’s father her grandfather unless she’s her daughter. Jackie is furious, and her angry look makes her dad wet himself. Jackie immediately volunteers to clean him and takes him to the bathroom.
Once alone, Jackie immediately starts choking her father for information. She connects the dots and accuses her dad of stealing her daughter, Gwen. It makes sense because she’s from London and she’s the right age, but what’s worse, her father stole her daughter from a loving family so he can leech off of her for the benefit money.
Jackie left her daughter at the hospital that day to keep her away from the sins of her past. She might not have wanted her daughter to grow up in the shady business she was in, but her father never let that happen because of his selfishness. While they are talking in the bathroom, one of Gwen’s friends hears the truth about Jackie.
Once downstairs and settled, Gwen asks Jackie where she learned to roll a smoke when she doesn’t smoke herself. She reveals she learned it from her mother when she first bought drugs for her pain. Gwen asks about Jackie’s father, and she replies that he was never around and only came back when he was out of cash. Jackie then turns the conversation to Gwen and asks about her mother.
Although she seems uneasy, Gwen says there’s nothing much to tell since she was adopted, which meant she was abandoned by her mother. She couldn’t stand her adopted family and ran when her grandfather found her, only to learn he took advantage of her because of the benefit money. Her grandfather told Gwen that her mother abandoned her because she was lazy and didn’t want to take care of the baby.
This enrages Jackie, and she asks her father to help her make soup for everyone. Once they are in the kitchen, Jackie tells her father that she’ll pay his debt so they can get out of this mess, and then she’ll tell Gwen about their relationship. However, just at that moment, Jackie finds a phone in her dad’s pocket with the Seven Demon’s logo on it.
It turns out that her father listed their address for credit purposes, and that’s how the demons tracked him. They couriered the phone a week ago and wanted him to inform them whenever Jackie arrived, which he did earlier when she came. Jackie feels outraged over her father’s behavior and tries to reason with him that the people he’s helping are devils.
Jackie Price gets back in the game
While Jackie argues with her father, Gwen’s friend tells her about what he heard outside the bathroom door. Gwen is shocked, but more than that, she’s infuriated to learn that Jackie is her mother. She takes a knife and rushes to the kitchen to put it on Jackie’s throat. She demands to know the truth, and Jackie admits Gwen’s her daughter and tells her details about her life only a mother would know.
However, Gwen is angry and refuses to believe, but Jackie warns her that people far deadlier and scarier than Dai are coming, and they will kill them all. Just in that moment, Dai comes through the front door, but as soon as he makes an entrance, a bullet goes through his head, and he falls down. Gwen is shocked, but there’s no time for a reaction.
Just as another bullet goes through another one of Gwen’s friends, the others are forced to take cover. It’s Friedrich, the infamous sniper, who has come for Jackie at last. Everyone is shot except for Jackie’s family, but there’s nowhere to escape. Jackie’s dad offers himself up as a distraction so the girls can escape from the smuggler’s hatch in the kitchen and out the back.
Before he goes out the front door, Jackie’s dad apologizes to her for all the pain he has caused. As he goes out the front, Jackie opens the hatch to escape, but Gwen goes back for her grandfather. Unable to convince her, Jackie escapes, and as her father comes out the front with a canister full of fuel, Friedrich blows him up, with Gwen behind him, who is pushed backward by the blast’s force.
Jackie hides in her father’s makeshift container. Friedrich arrives right after and finds Gwen on the ground. Jackie watches the entire scene unfold from a peephole in the container. Friedrich is determined to kill Gwen, but she reveals she’s Jackie’s daughter. This immediately changes things for Friedrich, especially when Gwen offers a deal to help find Jackie in exchange for getting out of this forsaken neighborhood. The Head Demon agrees, and Gwen leaves with him.
Jackie comes out after Friedrich leaves and is a bit sad, looking at her father’s burnt body, but she has no time to waste. She takes her father’s car to an old garage, where she finds her hidden stash of money and an old car. She takes the money and drives away into the distance.
