Selena Gomez has yet to win a Golden Globe somehow

Selena Gomez is currently one of the biggest stars in the industry. She's the star of one of the most successful shows on air. She's one of the most-followed individuals on all of Instagram. She has a sucesful music career. Her cooking show is one of the best on air. The list could honestly go on and on.

In Only Murders in the Building, Gomez holds her own against some of the biggest names in the game opposite comedy icons Martin Short and Steve Martin. Martin and Short have both gotten a lot of love from critics on the award circuit as has the show; however, Selena Gomez has somehow been snubbed each time the awards season has come along including at the Golden Globes.

While Gomez has been nominated twice for her performance in the show's second and third seasons, she's yet to take home the win for her performance on the show which is truly head scratching.

It's honestly somewhat shocking that Gomez has yet to take home a Golden Globe. She's an absolute scene-stealer in the series with such incredible comedic timing and delivery. She commands attention in every scene she appears in and is such a standout in the show as the glue that holds the core ensemble together.

Of course, in a category as competitive as the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy, we understand that the competition is stiff and that pulling off an win is an incredibly tough feat. Still, there is nothing we'd love more than to see Gomez finally take home a Golden Globe win one of these years!
