After what feels like centuries, the official trailer for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live has been released! We are nearly a month away from the premiere and not a day goes by that we don't wonder how our king and queen of the apocalypse are going to reunite.

The trailer reveals just some of the trials and tribulations our heroes will face in finding each other, from walkers to other humans. It does appear as though Rick has nearly exhausted all his options in trying to find his wife Michonne and daughter Judith (keep in mind he does not know about RJ).

He has tried to escape and failed (we saw this in The Walking Dead series finale), so the next step appears to be joining the CRM. As for the CRM itself, it looks 10 times bigger and scarier than what we saw in The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

Although the CRM's power and reach seem a bit confusing, as you would think something of this magnitude would have reached the likes of The Commonwealth and our heroes from TWD. For some time on TWD, the brief passing of a helicopter (after The Governor arc) was suspicious but never truly explored.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: Rick and Michonne never gave up one finding each other

Seasons later it seemed that these helicopters hailed from the CRM and yet didn't get involved with our heroes until it was time for Rick to be rescued, thanks to Anne (previously Jadis). That is probably the only thing (aside from sparing Negan, depending on who you ask) that we can thank her for.

Aside from some incredible yet horrifying walker imagery, explosions, dramatic yelling, and profound music and style choices, we are truly speechless. The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon already exceeded expectations, and once again it seems as though TWDU will not disappoint.

Haven't seen the trailer yet? Watch below and mark your calendars because TWD: The Ones Who Live will air on AMC and AMC Plus on February 25.
