The Golden Globes are always a highlight of the awards season, bringing together the biggest names in both television and movies for an unforgettable night celebrating Hollywood's best. While the awards telecast is always an exciting event for fans hoping to see if their favorite shows, movies, actors, and directors will pick up a win, there is no doubt the highlight of the event comes before the first award of the night is ever handed out.

For many, there is nothing like kicking off the Golden Globes festivities than with the Red Carpet pre-show which gives fans a chance to take in the night's iconic fashion moments and hear from the night's nominees before they take their seats for the ceremony.

Over the years, E! has gone live from the Red Carpet at most awards shows including the Golden Globes. As such, fans have come to expect live coverage from the E! News team. Unfortunately, E! will not be bringing audiences Red Carpet coverage this year with no special pre-show events planned from the network which will instead be airing a pair of iconic rom-coms tonight instead of Golden Globes coverage.

How to watch the 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet

For the first time in years, there is no Golden Globes Red Carpet coverage planned by E! News or the television networking airing the awards telecast this year due to the fact that CBS is instead airing NFL Week 18 coverage during the hours leading up to the 2024 Golden Globes. But fear not, there is still a Red Carpet pre-show this year!

The 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet official digital pre-show with Variety's Marc Malkin and ET's Rachel Smith will be going live on the ET YouTube channel beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET this afternoon. Malkin and Smith will be bringing fans the coverage of the Red Carpet speaking with the night's nominees, presenters, and guests as they arrive for the night's big event.
