While it feels like we’ve been stuck in the world of American Horror Story for fifteen years now, a highly anticipated thirteenth season is about to premiere, and fans are honestly very excited. If you’re like me and just waiting to see all these characters come back together, you’re in the right place.
The first three episodes of American Horror Story will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, right on FX. At the same time, those three episodes will drop on Hulu for those who want to stream the tribute series instead of watching it live.
And it will be a tribute series. As an anthology show, American Horror Story often has different seasons with different storylines. Still, this one is the first in some time to bring back former characters for an epic thirteenth installment. Several cast members we thought would never return to American Horror Story will come back.
The cast includes Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and more. They'll portray several different characters, all from previous seasons. We're not sure how it will all work together, but I’m positive this crossover installment will rank high in our season's rankings.
We know when the series will premiere, but what about the following episodes? Are we all dropping episodes at the same time for people to watch? Here is the official release schedule below.
American Horror Story season 13 will release episodes on both FX and Hulu at the same time
As I mentioned before, this will be an ongoing program for American Horror Story, with episodes released simultaneously on both platforms. This will not be a binge-drop format where we see every single episode at once, as much as I’m sure we all want to.
Each episode will be released at 9 p.m. ET, which is 6 p.m. PT. If you watch each episode live, you will have to sit through commercials and the like to see the whole thing. If you’re watching on Hulu with a premium plan, you can watch the first three episodes a little faster.
But again, these episodes aren't a binge drop. It’s a weekly premiere schedule. The first two weeks will feature three episodes, but the next few aren't the same. Here is the full FX and Hulu release schedule for American Horror Story season 13 in the table below:

I mean, these episode titles are getting me excited, just wondering what could happen next.
Thankfully, unlike other FX shows that drop all episodes on Hulu but air weekly, this won’t be the case, as both Hulu and FX premiere the same number of episodes. So as long as you watch it that night, you can avoid spoilers.
But goodness, they have been teasing this season like crazy. Just looking at the American Horror Story Instagram is getting me hyped. Get ready for the most epic crossover season in American Horror Story history—and maybe rewatch a few other seasons to get ready for the stories we might return to, because we still have no idea what it’s about.
