Does Jessica Biel Fit True Detective?
True Detective has so far been known to bring us the unexpected. It’s likely that many people were surprised and skeptical when Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were announced for the first season. That, of course, turned out to be a brilliant casting decision.

The names that have been popping as lead possibilities for the second season have been just as varied and surprising as the first. Out of the several female actors on the recently released shortlist, Jessica Biel stands out from the others.
Biel isn’t exactly known for brining us dark and mysterious work, but True Detective might be just the right outlet for her to prove herself.
Biel hasn’t been on a series since Seventh Heaven, but she’s remained active in films. You would be forgiven for raising your eyebrow at the sight of Biel’s name on the list, but if True Detective has shown as anything so far it’s that you can get fantastic results from unexpected sources.
Similarly, Vince Vaughn has appeared as a s rumor for one of the male leads. What would a series look like starring Jessica Biel and Vince Vaughn? It’s likely that the results would surprise you.
