The Trailer for Rachel McAdams’ Doctor Strange is Coming Soon
The first trailer for Marvel’s Rachel McAdams-Starring Doctor Strange is on the horizon.
Rachel McAdams was only actor from True Detective’s second season to be nominated for anything, and even though she ended up losing, she’s been a hot topic of conversation ever since. Part of that is because of the fantastic film, Spotlight, but it’s also because she will star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel will be bringing the big guns to Jimmy Kimmel Live! next week. First up the cast from Captain America: Civil War will be there on Monday and Wednesday to hype the new movie — which, by the way, comes out May 6th. That’s right, the cast for Civil War is so stupidly huge that they need two nights to cover it.
The next night, April 12th, Benedict Cumberbatch will be on the show to bring news of Doctor Strange.

Unfortunately Rachel McAdams won’t be on the scene as well, and we don’t have any guarantees that she will actually appear in the trailer. They could pull a Fantastic Beasts and only show a quick glance of McAdams like they did with Colin Farrell. After all, Cumberbatch is the titular character, so the trailer will obviously focus on him.
Since this will be the first trailer for a highly anticipated movie that’s not coming out until later this year, it likely won’t be show all that much. There will be plenty of time to show more footage in the inevitable trailers that will follow. Fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will also want to watch next week, and Chris Hemsworth will be on to promote The Huntsman: Winter’s War.
