Conan is all Over San Diego Comic Con
Conan has taken the show to SDCC
Comic Con, especially the San Diego Comic Con, is much more than just an event for comic enthusiasts. It’s an entire multimedia extravaganza that includes guests like Marvel, HBO, the CW, and many others. It’s a big deal. What goes on at SDCC tends to make mainstream news, and part of that is because of Conan O’Brien.
More than any other late night show, Conan spends the most time going over Comic Con. Like in the past, Conan has taken a trip over to SDCC to spend some time in the halls and interview various celebrities. Specifically, Conan sat down to talk with the cast of Silicon Valley, which have their own panel.
More from HBO
- HBO expects House of the Dragon season 2 release in summer 2024
- HBO delays three hit shows to 2025 but one big show is still coming in 2024
- Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty will end its run on HBO
- Winning Time season 2, episode 7 recap: “What Is and What Should Never Be”
- Winning Time season 2, episode 6 recap: “Beat L.A.”
Over the next several days, Conan will be at SDCC interviewing casts. Today was Silicon Valley, tomorrow will focus on the CW, Saturday will have the cast of Suicide Squad, and Sunday will be the cast of Game of Thrones. It should go without saying that the cast of Game of Thrones is going to be the big one.
You can keep up with the action over at the Conan Comic Con page, which also hosts clips from the interview with the Silicon Valley cast. You can also watch Andy Richter play around in a VR headset. There haven’t been any huge stories out of SDCC just yet, but the convention is still young. While it’s unlikely that HBO is going to make any announcements, it could debut new trailers.
Next: The next The Night Of is all about Naz's prison life.
Of course, that’s not even talking about the several panels that they will have. Comic Con has become a mainstream event, and for the next few days it will be difficult to escape. Frankly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
