The Night Of’s Riz Ahmed to do Q and A After The Night Of Finale
Join Riz Ahmed on Twitter after the finale Sunday night
Summer’s best crime series, The Night Of, is set to sign off this Sunday after eight episodes. The miniseries has had its up and downs, but so far it’s had far more of the former. The ratings also haven’t been half bad, and they’ve certainly been higher than Vice Principals. Not quite the same thing, but true all the same. Riz Ahmed, who plays Naz, will be taking questions after the finale.
Riz Ahmed tweeted earlier that he will be holding an informal Q&A on Twitter using the #AskRiz tag.

The Night Of has done a commendable job so far of taking care of loose ends, so there might not be any serious plot related questions left to ask. That doesn’t there isn’t a lot left to near from Riz Ahmed, specially about what it was like playing Naz. The Night Of has expertly tracked Naz’s downfall over the previous seven episodes. He is now so ingrained in the Rikers system that it’s difficult to imagine him going back to a normal life.
Hopefully the final episode, titled “The Call of the Wild,” will be able to deliver. The preview for it is these and foreboding. You can read our analysis of it here or just take a quick peek below:
Next: The Night Of's ratings have been strong so far.
Naz has been a difficult character to watch. Outside of the first episode he has been fairly stoic, not showing much emotion even in rough situations. He has, however, mastered the quiet rage that Freddy is so fond of. The Night Of’s finale will long extra long at 96 minutes, over 10 minutes longer than the first episode.
