Westworld Bares its Teeth in new Hidden Trailer
A crazy new Westworld trailer is here
Westworld has already set the bar pretty high for crazy trailers, but it has somehow outdone itself. If it wasn’t clear before that the world of Westworld is terrifyingly brutal, it will be now. The new trailer is hidden Discover Westworld after logging in with the ID “Violentdelights.” Very A Clockwork Orange, in a way.
HBO has so far chosen not to upload the trailer to YouTube, but there is a version courtesy of the fine folks at Coming Soon. Check it out:

So, yeah, this is going to be a wild ride. The series aims not only to offer up a violent and sexual world filled with androids, but also to examine what it means for an android to live in such a world. Enter Evan Rachel Wood’s character, Dolores, who gets the lion’s share of attention in the trailer, as the center of these moral and existential questions.
Dolores is given the third degree by Dr. Robert Ford, played by Anthony Hopkins over the nature of dreams. There are also more shots of androids being created and a plenty of sex and violence. While the previous trailer was more about setting the rather epic scene, this new trailer is far more concerned with the horror of what really goes on at Westworld. And make no mistake, horror it is.

This is a show that has made all the right moves so far. It’s difficult to even entertain the thought that it could be a dud at this point. That’s a good thing, since it’s set up to last for at least five seasons. Five seasons of violent, android nightmares. We’ve said this before, but Westworld could usher in a new era of science fiction on television. As of right now, that future is all but assured. It’s Westworld’s game to lose.
