The Westworld Premiere Party was last Night
The Westworld premiere party looks like it was rager
There was a time in which it felt like Westworld was never going to make it as far as an actual premiere. Being delayed indefinitely doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Since it has been back on track, however, the new show has impressively forged ahead. Now there is less than a week until the first episode airs. And of course, the Westworld premiere party was last night
The event took place at the historic Chinese Theater, a perfect venue for the official debut of what will become HBO’s next hit. If the photos that have surfaced online are anything to go on, it was quite the event.
The stars and crew were all on hand to watch their hard work hit the big screen, and there was a special Instagram booth set up that just about everyone took advantage of:

Critics already agree that Westworld is, for lack of a better word, incredible. HBO hasn’t launched a new show with his kind of anticipation in a long while, and it looks like they gave it the full red carpet treatment. You can also see more photos at The Chinese Theater’s official Facebook page. Those that are sore that they weren’t able to get in on some of the action will able to see the second episode early at next week’s New York Comic Con.

The Westworld premiere will air for us regular folks on Sunday, October 2nd, in HBO’s primetime slot, 9:00 PM EST. If the series is anywhere near as popular as it is expected to be, don’t be surprised to see a slew of new sci-fi shows greenlit at other networks. We welcome our new robot overlords with open arms.
