Check out some Photos from the next Westworld, ‘Trompe L’Oeil’
HBO has shared new photos from ‘Trompe L’Oeil,’ Westworld’s seventh episode.
Westworld has been on a roller coaster ride for the past six episodes, quickly taking us from one plot point to another. There’s an impressive amount of story to follow, and if the new photos from ‘Trompe L’Oeil’ are anything to go, it’s not going to get any simpler. We don’t necessarily mean that in a bad way.
‘Trompe l’Oeil’ (Optical Illusion, for those not of the French persuasion) will check back in with William and Dolores, as well as the standoff that will be taking place behind the scenes.

And we can’t, of course, forget about Maeve.

The new images coupled with the previously released preview should give us a fair idea of where this episode’s focus will lie. It will be nice to be back with Dolores and William, though the last episode had so much going on that they weren’t actually missed. It looks like we’re also going to get some sort of confrontation between Bernard and Theresa. Bernard now knows that Theresa is one of several people leaking Westworld information to the outside. She also broke up with him, so there’s that.
Westworld has so much ground left to cover, and at the same time it feels as if every episode is jam-packed. We’re not going to get all of the answers this season, but as long as some of our lingering questions are addressed, such as whether or not Bernard is a Host, we’ll be fine with that.
Next: Divorce's 'Christmas' won't be cheery.
With Maeve’s newfound sense of self it’s only a matter of time until she joins up with Dolores. There’s no hint of that happening soon, but it’s impossible not to see that we’re headed that way.
