Go Ahead, vote for your Favorite Girls Episode
You can vote for your favorite episode of Girls featuring Hannah or Marnie to be part of a marathon.
It’s time for Girls to wind down, and that means it is also time to look back. The sixth season will stand as its final season and will premiere on February 12th. Before that, however, fans will be able to relive their favorite episodes as part of a special marathon. This is no normal marathon; this is meant to highlight specific fan favorites. The official Girls Twitter account sent out the news, asking for fans to vote for their favorite “Marnie” or “Hannah” episode.
And now for the Marnie results:

In terms of episodes about Hannah, the season 2 episode, “One Man’s Trash,” is currently winning. For those that may not remember, that is the surreal episode in which Hannah has an affair with Joshua, played by Patrick Wilson. It was originally one of the episodes singled out as being weak. For many that grew frustrated with Girls, this episode is really where it started. Maybe it will play better now that a few years have passed.
The Marnie-centric episode currently winning is also from season 2, “Bad Friend.” This the episode in which Elijah reveals that he slept with Marnie, and it fractures Hannah’s relationship with both Elijah and Marnie for some time. In terms of the overall Girls storyline, it’s a fairly important episode.

It would be nice to also have the favorite Jess and Shosh episodes thrown into the mix, but we’ll take what we can get for now. The marathon will air on February 2nd, but not on HBO proper. It will instead air on HBO Comedy, so if you plan on tuning in, make sure not to get the two mixed up.
