HBO releases Silicon Valley May episode slate

Silicon Valley has just started its fourth season and HBO has released the May slate of episode titles and descriptions.

Season 4 of Silicon Valley has just begun, and episode 2, “Terms of Service,” will air this weekend, April 30, which means episode 3 will happen in the month of May. That means HBO has just announced — via a fresh press release — the May slate of Silicon Valley season 4 episode titles and descriptions. But first, let’s watch the season 4 promo to catch ourselves up:

Okay, now with the good stuff. Season 4, episode 3 will be titled, “Intellectual Property,” and will air on Sunday, May 7.

"An overtired Richard (Thomas Middleditch) pushes himself to the brink of sanity while trying to move ahead with his next big idea. Eyeing a comeback, Erlich (T.J. Miller) pressures an uncooperative Jian-Yang (Jimmy O. Yang). Monica (Amanda Crew) sets a trap at Raviga to improve her standing with Laurie (Suzanne Cryer). Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) goes on a date; Big Head (Josh Brener) enters the world of academia; Gavin (Matt Ross) faces an unknown future.Written by Carrie Kemper; directed by Jamie Babbit."

Season 4, episode 4, will be titled, “Teambuilding Exercise,” and will air on Sunday, May 14.

"When Richard (Thomas Middleditch) reaches out to an unlikely ally, Jared (Zach Woods) worries about the company he’s keeping. Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) gets tough on security in the wake of Dinesh’s (Kumail Nanjiani) latest dalliance; later, he considers whether to put his pride aside for a job. Season 4, episode 5, will be titled, “The Blood Boy,” and will air on Sunday, May 21.

"Cracks in Richard’s (Thomas Middleditch) latest partnership become more apparent when he’s forced to deal with an unexpected interloper. As things get more serious, Dinesh(Kumail Nanjiani) scrambles to find a way out of his new relationship. After learning of surprising developments afoot at Raviga, Monica (Amanda Crew) has trouble deciding which horse to back.Written by Adam Countee; directed by Tim Roche."

Season 4, episode 6, will be titled, “Customer Service,” and will air on Sunday, May 28.

"On the hunt for financial support, Richard (Thomas Middleditch) looks outside the tech bubble, and crosses paths with a contentious figure from Pied Piper’s past. Erlich (T.J. Miller)reaches out to Monica (Amanda Crew) and Laurie (Suzanne Cryer) in search of a new endeavor. A launch gone wrong finds Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) and Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) at war as Jared (Zach Woods) tries to keep the peace.Written by Graham Wagner & Shawn Boxe; directed by Clay Tarver."

From the description of these episodes, it appears as if the gang at Erlich’s incubator house are going to be testing the bonds of friendship, this season. And, it really does sound as if Richard might be on the precipice of success with the creation of his new internet.
