Singer Ed Sheeran on his Game of Thrones cameo
Singer and budding actor Ed Sheeran is finally sharing details about his surprising upcoming Game of Thrones cameo in the highly anticipated seventh season, and yes there is music involved.
It’s not the first time Sheeran has been featured on the small screen, he landed a role in Kurt Stutter’s The Bastard Executioner in back in 2015. This will be the first time he will be featured in a major television phenomenon to the scale of Game of Thrones.
The singer revealed scant details about the role to Daily Star earlier in the month saying that he did not know which role his character was going to play but, “I don’t die in it, I don’t die.”
Now, according to Heat, Sheeran spoke with Tom Green on The Hits Radio about his upcoming role and working with Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark in the series.
"I just do a scene with Maisie. I sing a song and then she goes, oh, that’s a nice song."
While it’s not a lot of detail about the upcoming cameo, it’s something to keep us speculating until Game of Thrones is back on our television screens July 16, on HBO. Where could Sheeran be performing that he runs into Arya?

Does this mean that Arya is finally going back to normal civilization after being with the faceless men for most of season 6, before exacting revenge on Walder Frey?
