The Leftovers Season 3, Episode 3 live stream: Watch ‘Crazy Whitefella Thinking’ online

“The Leftovers” finally heads to Australia for an entire episode revolving around Kevin Garvey, Sr.’s adventures down under.

The trailer for The Leftovers Season 3 teased a trip to Australia for the final season. But unlike the second season, which immediately switched to a new setting, the Garvey’s move to the Outback has been a gradual one.

We’ve seen glimpses of it in the final segments of the first two episodes. We also learned that Nora would be traveling there to investigate Mark Linn-Baker’s claims of the existence of a machine that transports people to where the departed went in episode two.

But in the third episode, entitled “Crazy Whitefella Thinking,” we’ll be getting an entire episode down under surrounding Kevin Garvey, Sr., who was seen at the end of last week’s Nora-centric installment. The synopsis for the episode informs us that the former cop feels he has a huge task on his hands:

"“With the clock ticking towards the anniversary of the Departure and emboldened by a vision that is either divine prophecy or utter insanity, Kevin Garvey, Sr. (Scott Glenn) wanders the Australian Outback in an effort to save the world from apocalypse.”"

Kevin Garvey, Sr. is the only character featured in the trailer for episode 3. We first see him in a flashback scene from when he was a police officer in New York and he began hearing voices.

“I used to hear voices, and the voices said, ‘What are you look for?’ So I said, ‘Purpose!'” he yells in the clip.

We go on to hear him talk about a great flood that he feels he must stop. A huge rain storm is juxtaposed with two fiery scenes. The preview ends with the old man telling two cops that he’s “preventing the apocalypse,” as a large fire forms around him.
