4. The entire L.A. trip was for nothing, or was it?

Well by the end of Gloria’s trip she finds out the truth about Thaddeus and what happened between him and film producer Howard Zimmerman tat left the producer in a now vegetative state. It turns out that when Thaddeus found out that Zimmerman and Lord were conning him and he snaps, beating the producer to near-death with a gold club causing his now vegetative state.He was going to do the same to Lord, but he stopped himself and stormed out of the room stating, “you’re a bad person.”

So, Gloria has a revelation after hearing this story from a now aged Lord: It has absolutely had nothing to do with her father-in-law’s murder. It’s just a story and nothing more. So what’s the point of the episode?  Well, it’s an episode about nothing really, but it develops Gloria’s character so beautifully and was a breath of fresh of fresh air from the stumbling Stussy brother drama.
