5 Game of Thrones spinoffs we want HBO to make

The oft-rumored Game of Thrones spinoff appears to be a go at HBO, and that’s got us thinking; which prequel series would we most want to see adapted? A Song of Ice and Fire creator George R.R. Martin is sitting upon a veritable library of material that could be adapted by HBO, so the hardest question might come down to which series to adapt, not how to adapt it.
Never fear though, we have done the legwork for you HBO. We’ve chosen the five series that make the most sense to adapt, and we were even kind enough to explain our reasoning just a bit. OK, more than a bit, but hey, we’re obsessed with this show. Most fans do not realize that the current Game of Thrones series airing on HBO is the culmination of thousands of years of Westerosi history created by Martin. It is literally the tip of the iceberg.
Whether HBO is looking for another similar series set in the Seven Kingdoms or something with a completely different format, Martin has a saga that can work. So take a gander down the proverbial rabbit hole, and peruse our five best ideas for a Game of Thrones spinoff series.
