HBO and Game of Thrones have released behind the scenes footage from filming in Spain and Iceland.

Spanish website Moviestar Series has uploaded a video from HBO and Game of Thrones showing behind the scenes footage of filming scenes in both Spain and Iceland. Unfortunately, because the video is dubbed in Spanish, you can barely make out what the various actors are saying in English, but nonetheless, it does provide a neat look into the making on Game of Thrones. Check it out:

The basic gist of the video is each actor gushing over the filming locations for each set. Thanks to our sister site, Winteriscoming.net, we also have a breakdown of some of the better photos from the video. Enjoy:

That’s Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane just chilling in the ice (pun intended), with a rope around his shoulders. I wonder what, or who, he’ll be using that rope on, hmmmm?

Oh look, and icy cave! I wonder is there are any Wampas around.

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister looking up at a green screen. No doubt, this is him watching the three dragons take flight from the trailer.

Here’s Jaime Lannister, sans the golden hand

Oh, and Bronn!

Finally, we get a shot of Grey Worm taking a much needed bath, I’m sure.

These are all very interesting looks into what makes Game of Thrones so special, and I cannot wait to see all these behind the scenes shots make the final cut when Game of Thrones hits HBO on July 16.
