Prepare for the final three weeks until the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere on HBO, by watching two hilarious season finales tonight, online!
HBO is saying farewell, for now, to two of its most hilarious comedies, as Veep season 6, and Silicon Valley season 4, air their final episodes of 2017. And, while we’re definitely going to miss the funniest shows on Sunday night television, while they prepare new seasons for next year, we can take some comfort in the fact that we only have three weeks remaining until the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere. Praise the old gods and the new!
We start with Veep, and Selina Meyer’s crazy, topsy-turvy, yet side-splittingly hilarious season 6. The season finale is titled “Groundbreaking,” which is extremely apropos, seeing as how Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has had one constant goal, throughout the ten episode slate, this season: Build her Presidential Library. That’s right, on the same night HBO is ripping Selina Meyer and her entourage of lovable sycophants from our hearts, the network thought it would be good just to go ahead and rip that band-aid right off with the Silicon Valley season 4 finale.
