Game of Thrones 702 preview: “Stormborn”
Are you prepared for the second episode in Game of Thrones season 7? Let’s preview “Stormborn.”
It’s been a busy week for Game of Thrones. Last Sunday, July 16, the premiere of season 7, “Dragonstone,” aired and smashed the previous record for viewers by a lot. With the premiere set so late in the year (well, late for Thrones), season 7 actually coincided with San Diego Comic-Con for the first time in the show’s history, and HBO made the best of it with a trailer for episodes 2 (“Stormborn”) and 3 (“The Queen’s Justice”).
The combined trailer was so epic that it left us with many unanswered questions, that we chose the five best we could think of. HBO released six new photos for this Sunday’s episode, “Stormborn,” and there’s a meeting between Jon Snow and Littlefinger that looks extremely intense.

Littefinger better watch how he talks to the new King in the North, he might end up choke-slammed into a wall. Without further ado, let’s get into the particulars of Game of Thrones season 7, episode 2, “Stormborn.”

Writer Bryan Cogman and director Mark Mylod have worked together before, to bring an episode of Game of Thrones to television, with “The Broken Man,” in season 6. You may or may not remember that was the episode in which Sandor “The Hound” Clegane returned, as well as actor Ian McShane starring in a one off cameo as Brother Ray.
In fact, that episode was only the fifth cold-open in Game of Thrones history, but seeing as how we just had a killer of a cold-open in the season 7 premiere, I doubt it will happen again so soon.
