Game of Thrones 704 Preview: “The Spoils of War”
Game of Thrones episode 7×04 “The Spoils of War” airs this Sunday night and we have a look at the new preview.
Can you believe we are already almost halfway finished with season 7 of Game of Thrones? Yeah, we can’t either, but considering this season is the fastest-paced yet it’s no surprise that we are already waiting for episode 4 to hit our small screens.
Episode 4 is titled “The Spoils of War” and it looks like it’s going to be focused around the fallout of Dany’s losing streak and the rising tension in the North between Littlefinger and, well, everyone. Here is a look at the trailer:
“All my allies are gone…I’m losing” – Daenerys Targaryen.
Things are not looking for team Dany in this promo for “The Spoils of War.” So far, all of her and Tyrion’s plans to take the iron throne out from under Cersei have failed thanks to wild card Euron Greyjoy and her allies gone: Ellaria Sand is Cersei prisoner, Olenna Tyrell is dead and Yara Greyjoy is being held captive by Euron.

So it’s no surprise it seems like she’s turning to Jon Snow for help, that she’s officially done with Tyrion’s “clever plans” and that she will be taking her favorite dragon Drogon for a ride into battle.
We also get a glimpse of, what seems to be, Littlefinger pulling out his dagger Catspaw, the one used in the assassination attempt against Bran back in season one that sliced up Cat Stark’s hands, which means that something bad is going to go down in Winterfell next episode that has us really worried for Sansa Stark. If you noticed in the trailer, we see Brienne of Tarth angrily swinging her sword, Podrick being pushed to the ground and Sansa looking worried while sitting in her chamber.
Luckily for her, it looks like Arya is on the horizons getting closer to reaching home. So hopefully whatever Littlefinger has planned will be stopped by the latest Stark returning home. She does have Catspaw in that EW cover that was released a few months ago, so it looks like this week we will be seeing just how she gets that dagger.
