Video: Watch another Stark family reunion on Game of Thrones “The Spoils of War”

The Starks are starting to gather at Winterfell once again, and on Game of Thrones “The Spoils of War,” our hearts were warmed by yet another reunion.

Oh, how Game of Thrones just loves to tug at our feels. After having a truly memorable reunion between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark at Castle Black in season 6, and after an awkward — yet still heartwarming — reunion between Sansa and Bran Stark in episode 703, “The Queen’s Justice,” Game of Thrones gifted us with Arya Stark coming home to Winterfell and hugging tightly both Sansa and Bran.

Let’s set the scene. Arya returns to Winterfell and heads straight for the crypts to see the statue of her dead father, Ned. Sansa meets here there and the sisters share not one, but two hugs. Queue the tears.

Then, Sansa brings Arya to see Bran, who is sitting by the weirwood tree in Winterfell’s godswood. Bran tosses some Three-Eyed Raven wisdom at Arya, and then gives her the Valyrian steel dagger once used in the attempt on his life in season 1 — Catspaw.

Oh my, stop with the tugging on my heartstrings, Game of Thrones.

So now, we have three Stark siblings reunited and home under one roof for the first time since season 1, and, now that Arya has a Valyrian steel dagger in her possession, she is even more formable than ever before…and yes, we fully realize she wiped out an entire House in the season premiere.
