Game of Thrones episode 706 preview: “Beyond the Wall”

It certainly has been a chaotic week for HBO as Game of Thrones episode 706, “Beyond the Wall” was leaked on Tuesday.

Regardless of the leak by HBO Spain, there are still fans who have resisted the lure of watching the episode online, and we’ve got the spoiler-free preview for Sunday night’s all-new episode of Game of Thrones. Before we get started, have a look at the epic preview trailer for “Beyond the Wall.”

“Death is the enemy.”

Oof, Beric Dondarrion isn’t bringing any sunshine to this episode. Episode 706 will see Jon and his group (Lord Beric included) venture beyond the wall, appropriately, to find a wight soldier from the Night King’s army, in order to convince Cersei to join her forces to the defense of the Seven Kingdoms.

On Wednesday, HBO released 12 photos from the episode, which also shows the ongoing tension between Arya and Sansa Stark.

Episode 706 will be directed by Alan Taylor who is returning to the show after a four-year absence. Taylor’s last directed an episode of Game of Thrones with the season 2 finale, “Valar Morghulis.”
