Timeless season two photos promise another war for the time team

Timeless returns in March and Season 2 looks like the battle against Rittenhouse is about to get a lot more personal for Lucy.

Timeless finished last season with the big reveal that Lucy’s mother has been a part of Rittenhouse all along, and might have been the mastermind behind getting her daughter on the time ship.

However, from the Season 2 photos, it looks like Lucy isn’t going to switch sides despite discovering her parents’ true intentions. Now that the fight against Rittenhouse has gotten more personal, the stakes to shut down the evil organization are higher than ever.

After remaining in the dark for most of last season, Lucy is finally going to have to confront the possibility she may never get her sister back. With her mother and her father actively working against her to prevent a timeline where the former is dying, she’s going to have to rely on the time team for help. The greatest asset Timeless has is the relationship between the main ensemble, and the reunion between the three time travelers will be the highlight of the premiere.

Wyatt actually finished last season in a relatively good place considering he spent a lot of time dealing with the death of his wife and his time in war. However, fans of the show have been doubtful that Jessica’s death has really been a closed mystery now that Rittenhouse was shown to be pulling the string of the time team without their knowledge.

Was his wife being killed suppose to be the catalyst to get him to work for them? It seems like a question that Timeless will address in Season 2 as well as those burgeoning feelings for Lucy.

Rufus was easily the heart and soul of the time team since the beginning of Timeless but he might be dealing with some heartbreak this season. After his lab partner and girlfriend, Jiya travels back in time to help him last year, she ended up having a weird seizure during her recovery.

Only three people are meant to travel on the ship, and with Jiya being the fourth it looks like Rufus will need to figure out what went wrong. However, it doesn’t look like any kind of illness will keep her from helping the team in their fight against Rittenhouse.
