Only Legends of Tomorrow is airing a new episode this week, but it looks like it’s going to be a fun ode to “Groundhog Day.”

It’s going to be a lonely Hero Report this week with only Legends of Tomorrow airing a new episode. Nevertheless, fans of the misfit superhero show will be happy to see it won’t be going on an early hiatus after returning last week.

In “Daddy Darhkest,” Legends of Tomorrow focused on the arrival of Constantine and the departure of Leo Start. However, “Here I Go Again,” teases Zari taking the forefront in a Groundhog Day-esque time loop with the team. The episode synopsis also promises some dark secrets will begin to surface amongst the group as they try to find a way out of the situation.

"After the team returns from a mission, Zari (Tala Ashe) finds herself trapped in a time loop that results in the Waverider blowing up over and over again.  Zari soon begins to suspect that the answer to stop what is happening might lie hidden among her fellow shipmates’ secrets. But in investigating them she starts to understand her place on the team."

As a relatively new addition to the team, it’s great to see the show expanding on her character. On this season of Legends of Tomorrow, she is at the forefront since the demon Mallus has some connection to her and Amaya’s totems. While it’s unclear if he is behind the time loop, it looks like Zari will be the one who has to solve the mystery after every reset the team undergoes. However, in all of the promotional photos for “Here I Go Again,” she is typically in the background watching various members of the group, which hints towards the sleuthing she must do to figure out everyone’s secrets.

Legends of Tomorrow has slowly become one of the most underrated superhero shows on television. Like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it debuted with high expectations and was unable to meet them. However, the series course corrected in its sophomore season and has only continued to get better. One of the more lighthearted shows in the Hero Report, Legends looks poised to have another solid outing this week.
