Ash vs. Evil Dead: 5 takeaways from ‘Unfinished Business’

Last week on Ash vs. Evil Dead, Dalton shockingly died while Ash had to take out his father — risen as a Deaditte.
This week, season three of Ash vs. Evil Dead continues to fly along at a breakneck pace with Ash meeting up with his dad once again while Kelly has to battle Pablo — returned as a Deaditte.
Here is a look at our five takeaways from the fourth episode of season three, “Unfinished Business.”
Kelly v. Brandy
Last week on Ash vs. Evil Dead, Kelly, Pablo and Dalton headed out to find the Kandarian Dagger and sought it out at the Cabin in the Woods. Kelly found the dagger, but then everything went wrong.
As we saw, Dalton was impaled and became a Deaditte before Pablo ran him over with the truck to save Kelly. That was the end of their story last week.
This week, Kelly is on her way back to Ash’s house by herself. She has no idea what happened to Pablo and knows that Dalton is finished. When she gets there, she sees the remains of Brock Williams’ reanimated corpse. That is when Brandy shows back up.
Like she has all season, Brandy remains naive to the entire situation, even referring to Ash as “delusional.” That is when Kelly puts Brandy in her place (YES! Finally!). As she tells Brandy, Ash may be bad, but he has done everything he can to save his daughter.

Kelly vs. Pablo
Sadly, their conversation is cut short when Pablo shows up on his motorcycle — a newly minted Deaditte. While Dalton becoming a Deaditte last week was shocking, Pablo becoming a Deaditte this week was sad because nothing is worse than watching Kelly and Pablo fight.
Although, Air Supply singing “I’m All Out of Love” during the fight was genius.
Pablo even bites a chunk out of Kelly’s leg before she and Brandy can get into Ash’s RV and lock themselves in. Thanks to the bulletproof glass, they are safe for now. However, that didn’t last since the bite on Kelly’s leg gave Pablo a chance to show his face there — literally, his face was on her leg trying to bite more.
It will be interesting to see how this turns out since Kelly said she won’t kill Pablo and wants to save him. How that is possible will have to wait, though, as that was the end of their story in this episode.
