Ash vs. Evil Dead: 5 takeaways from ‘Unfinished Business’

Ash meets Ruby’s baby
With Ruby at the site of the cabin, Ash went to the home of the school counselor that she took the place of (an older woman with an oxygen mask who loved bowling).
He went searching the house and found the room with the woman kidnapped earlier this season still bound to a sink while the Demon Baby — now a toddler (it is aging fast) — is sleeping while sucking someone’s severed thumb.
Ash tries to release the woman and when he does, he realizes he made too much noise and the toddler woke up. While Ash figured he could deal with a woken toddler, it opened its mouth and showed its immense teeth before screaming and knocking out the lights.
As Ash then said, he is now up “sh*t creek.”
A word about the final song
With that said, this is a good place to point out how fantastic the songs that play over the end credits of Ash vs. Evil Dead really are. Honestly, last week when Brandy walked out and Ash said “kids” the song was Bruce Campbell singing about kids.

This week, Ash said “sh*t creek” and the song was about saying bad words. It was hilarious and just one part of what makes Ash vs. Evil Dead the funniest show on television today.
Ash vs. Evil Dead airs every Sunday on the Starz app and has an official air time of 9 p.m. EST on the Starz network.
