Lucifer – “The Last Heartbreak” 

"As Chloe and Lucifer go on the hunt for a serial killer targeting couples in love, Pierce realizes the case is connected to a murder he previously solved…in 1958. Then, Lucifer becomes upset when Pierce has a change of heart about an important decision."

Pierce really doesn’t respect the whole “Bro Code” does he? Lucifer is going to drag their infamous will-they-won’t-they relationship until the end of time. It looks like the “The Last Heartbreak” might finally have the anti-hero come clean about his feelings but the show teases that at least every other week.

That being said, the case of the week sounds pretty intriguing and gives a reason for Pierce to do more than just mope.

Black Lightning – “The Book of Little Black Lies” 

"FAMILY ABOVE ALL – In the aftermath of the latest killing, Black Lightning (Cress Williams) works to clear his name while also hunting down the person responsible for his father’s death, and anyone else involved. Tensions remain high between Black Lightning and Gambi (James Remar)."

It’s hard to blame either Jefferson or Gambi in the sneak peek for Black Lightning. The latter had a good reason to keep his secret while the former is justified in his anger.

However, what’s most exciting is seeing how Jen’s powers unfold. She came clean to her sister about her powers, and every episode works as a countdown to the Pierce family team-up.
