Buckle up, Westworld just dropped a new trailer.

As promised, HBO dropped the latest trailer for their critically acclaimed series, Westworld. When we say the stakes are high, we mean really high. The host rebellion is descending upon the world and things are in a chaotic mess.

While there has been a lot of speculation as to what is in store for the second season, the newest trailer confirms many of our theories, starting with a glimpse into Shogun World.

As Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” plays in the background, the trailer shows the hosts inching towards their inevitable rebellion. With each and every moment, they are becoming more aware and more independent–aka the humans are screwed.

A haunting conversation between Dolores and Bernard sets the tone for the trailer. It appears there may be a time jump, which wouldn’t be altogether surprising for a show that doesn’t exactly follow time in a linear fashion.

And did we just see Maeve dressed up as a geisha?! There is so much to process with this new trailer–namely Dolores at the head of the rebellion, guns a-blazing. Things are about to get intense in Westworld and with just about everyone out for blood, who knows what will go down.

Will the warriors of Shogun World join Dolores’ cause to fight against the humans that have oppressed them? Um, we sure hope so because that is exactly what we have been waiting for during this hiatus.

And if that isn’t enough to get you hyped then hearing the Man in Black utter the words, “I’m going to burn this place down”, is enough to get us worried and excited all at the same time for the fight that lies ahead.

Not to mention, Bernard telling Dolores she frightens him sometimes. Don’t worry Bernard, she frightens us too.

Westworld will premiere its second season on Sunday, April 22 on HBO at 9 P.M. EST!
