Doctor Strange – Iron Fist

It’s hard for Doctor Strange to cross over to other Marvel properties because he deals with the mystical. The showrunners for Runaways explained early on that Marvel wouldn’t allow them to use any kind of magic.

So the staff Nico uses was changed to an advanced technological weapon controlled by brain waves. That rules out almost all of the shows, except for Legion and Iron Fist.

FX’s hit show is definitely weird enough to incorporate Doctor Strange, but his character probably wouldn’t want to spend much time with David.

However, Danny Rand spends a majority of his time speaking about his mystical powers and his title. The two have fought side by side in the comics which could translate well into Iron Fist.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Runaways

Fans familiar with the Runaways comic know that Karolina Dean is an alien from outer space. On the television series, it looks like only her biological father is as well rather than both her parents.

The only way for the Guardians of the Galaxy to appear on any of the Marvel shows would be one that can incorporate their cosmological exploits. Since ABC’s Inhumans is probably canceled and S.H.I.E.L.D. has enough to deal with, that only leaves the Runaways available.

Both groups would probably mesh pretty well in a single episode crossover. Mantis and Drax would probably love to meet Gert’s pet dinosaur and Chase could learn to make some explosives from Rocket.

Teenage Groot could befriend Molly and Nico would appreciate Gamora’s stoicism. However, Karolina and Quill would have the most fun with a dance party.
