Fans of the cult TV show Arrested Development have likely been waiting a long time to hear this — the wait is finally over.

After five long years, season 5 will be premiering on Netflix this summer.

While an exact date has yet to be officially announced, Henry Winkler promised in an interview with Decider it would be sometime mid-summer since they had just finished shooting around Christmastime.

More from Netflix

While Netflix has never been afraid to take its time with a show between seasons, Arrested Development had an unusually large gap even by the standards of Netflix.

Of course, a lot of this is likely due to the work schedules of several of the actors involved.

This contributed to some of the show’s troubles during season 4, so it makes sense that everyone involved would want to take their time and avoid making that same mistake again.

Jason Bateman and Will Arnett have both had a steady movie careers since Arrested  Development was cancelled the first time around and Tony Hale has been winning awards left and right with Veep.

According to series creator Mitch Hurwitz, season 5 is said to be a murder mystery in the vain of Making a Murderer.  This isn’t particularly surprisingly given how last season ended with Buster being arrested for the murder Lucille Austero (Liza Minelli), though virtually the entire Bluth family had the motive to kill her as well.
