Fans will get to enjoy at least two more seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

As the tradition TV season winds down and the news of cancellations have been rolling in over the last week, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel doesn’t have to worry – at least for the next two years.

TV Line confirms that Amazon renewed the hit hour-long comedy for a third season before the second season even premiered.

More from Amazon Prime

On Saturday, the series took home a Peabody Award, so, Amazon figured they would renew their critical darling. The series also won Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy for Rachel Brosnahan at the Golden Globes.

And the people behind the series is working hard to get noticed for this year’s Emmy Awards consideration.

Set in 1958, season one of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel followed Miriam “Midge” Maisel, an Upper West Side housewife whose husband suddenly leaves her. She understandably suffers a bit of a breakdown and stumbles into the Gaslight Café in nothing but her nightgown and coat.

Her drunken rant is misconstrued for a comedy routine and the Susie Myerson; a bar employee becomes her manager.

The whole series concentrates on Midge trying to not only make it on her own as a single mother but also make it in comedy.

By the end of the season, Midge seems to patch things up with her ex, who is also an amateur comedian. He finds out about her secret life of comedy, and so we’re left to wonder if they will get back together or not.

Amazon still hasn’t announced the premiere date for season two of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel yet. But I can’t wait!
