Orange Is The New Black released a teaser and dropped the premiere date for the highly anticipated sixth season–are you ready?

Finally, some news on the Orange Is The New Black front! Granted a couple of days have passed since the news dropped, but we can re-live the excitement and joy of finally knowing when our Litchfield girls will be making their return.

Netflix announced the sixth season will be available for streaming on Friday, July 27th (mark your calendars!). Check out the teaser below as we prepare to “dive into a whole new world”.

If you don’t remember how season five ended, let us remind you! The entire plot of the fifth season took place over the course of three days, where the inmates of Litchfield were in the midst of rioting against the system. And the final moments of the season finale had Piper, Crazy Eyes, Red, along with some of our other favorites completely surrounded by officers–leaving us to wonder what would become of them.

There is a lot to look forward to when the series returns, and we have no idea where or how the story will progress from here. What we do know, based on the twenty-second teaser, is that we may be saying bye, bye to Litchfield. Let’s hope that no hackers get a hold of this season!

What adventures lie ahead for some of our favorite inmates? And will they make it out alive after their riot antics of last season? Luckily, we don’t have to wait very long to find out!
