Netflix released the first image from the upcoming season of The Crown–and we can’t contain our enthusiasm!

The Crown is well into production for season three, and today Netflix revealed the first image of Oliva Colman Queen Elizabeth II. Colman, her Royal Highness, has been seen in shows like Broadchurch and The Night Manager and is pretty much the perfect fit to play in the next era of Queen Elizabeth’s life.

In the image released, Colman is seen drinking a cup of tea lost in deep thought as she channels her inner Queen. Filming for season three is well underway and Colman is set to play this iconic role for the current filming season and season four.

Tobias Menzies of Outlander will play Colman’s counterpart, Prince Philip in the third and fourth season, and once again is the perfect casting choice to play this titular character. Along with Colman and Menzies, Ben Daniels will join the cast as Antony Armstrong-Jones, along with Helena Bonham Carter, who will play Princess Margaret.

The series is set to premiere sometime in 2019 (we can’t wait!). The third season will begin around 1963 and will include events such as the fame and popularity of the Beatles and England’s World Cup victory in 1966. Not to mention, the character of Camila Parker Bowles will start to play a role in the next season. Which means, Princess Diana’s entrance into the series isn’t too far away!

Next: The Crown: The role of Princess Anne has been cast!

Just last week, The Crown received 13 Emmy nominations for its second season, including nominations for Claire Foy and Matt Smith, and a nomination in the category for Best Drama Series.
