Avengers: Infinity War directors to create new Amazon series

The directors of Avengers: Infinity War are all set to create a new Amazon series according to this year’s TCAs.
Amazon is stepping up its game every year, and now with the Russo brothers on board to create a new series for them, Amazon is killing it with their content. At this year’s TCAs, it was announced that the directors of Avengers: Infinity War are working on an “ambitious concept” for the series (you mean more ambitious than making half the Marvel superheroes disappear?).

No details about the series were revealed, so your guess is as good as ours, but with the Russo brothers in charge, you can only imagine where they might take us with this new series. According to EW, the only thing that was revealed was that the show will have a global scope.
"“The origin mothership series will function as a fire-starter to ignite the creation of multiple original local language and local production series. All of the local series are meant to enhance the entire entertainment experience and will be available for the viewer to deep dive into an imagined layered world.”"
Interesting, very, very interesting. Head of Amazon Studios, Jennifer Salke, said the series will be an international franchise, so it looks like they are going big this series, and we are so excited to hear more about it!
The Russo brothers have made their mark in pop culture with Avengers: Infinity War and Captain America: Civil War, and bringing their talents to Amazon will be a wonderful experience for all the Amazon Prime customers.

As for what “international franchise” entails, we don’t really know what that could mean but given that Amazon is also roping in The Lord of the Rings world into their streaming service through the new series, the sky is the limit.
