Things are getting crazy in the latest trailer for Ozark
By Ariba Bhuvad
The Byrdes are facing many obstacles in season two of Ozark–and it’s not looking good.
Ozark will return for its second season in just about a month, and the latest trailer hints at a lot of escalated chaos–and murder. The focus of the trailer is primarily on Marty Byrde, played by Jason Bateman who seems to be fairly calm and collect while everyone around him bombards him with questions and concerns.

The trailer gives a peek into even more murders, and the disposal of bodies so we can only fathom what season 2 has in store for fans. In this season, Marty will be trying to build a casino so he can launder money through it but he has only six months to get everything set. It seems like there will be a lot in his way, namely the Snells, who will make the life of the Byrdes extremely complicated.
The Byrde children will be seen trying to understand the line of work their parents have fallen into while Ruth (Julia Garner) will be dealing with guilt over her uncle’s death.
The trailer was screed at the TCA’s on Sunday during a panel including Jason Bateman, Julia Garner, and Laura Linney. Bateman directed two episodes in the first season, and also did the first two of the second season. Ozark is produced by his company, Aggregate, alongside Media Rights Capital for Netflix.
