More from FX

For the third consecutive year, FX was the top contender for winning at the TCA Awards and The Americans won three of the four FX walked away with including Program of The Year, Drama of the Year, and Drama Series Individual Achievement for Keri Russell. FX also won the Best Miniseries award for American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace.

Other award recipients included HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver for Best Sketch/Variety show. Anthony Bourdain’s CNN series Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown won for Best News and Information Program. Bourdain passed away in June so this award was given out posthumously.

BBC’s Killing Eve picked up the award for Best New Program, and Rachel Brosnahan took home the award for Best Comedy Series Performance for her role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. NBC’s The Good Place won Best Comedy and Friends was awarded the Heritage Award joining the likes of Seinfeld.

Queer Eye won the only award for Netflix for Best Reality Program and Rita Moreno received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Suffice to say, a lot went down at this year’s TCA Awards, and it is quite possibly an indicator/prediction for who will win the upcoming Emmy awards in September. Either way, we’re loving the recipients and hope they are recognized in the coming months as well!
