American Horror Story: Apocalypse releases first look at cast Murder House reunion

American Horror Story just released the first look at the Murder House reunion–and it is just as satisfying as we would have imagined.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse is going to be such an epic season given the number of cast members returning for the crossover. Recently, creator Ryan Murphy gave us the first look at the Coven reunion, but now we get a sneak peek at the cast of Murder House reuniting, and it’s seriously so exciting.
While the characters are probably not in the entire season, we are excited to know they are coming back at all. Murphy released a picture of Murder House alums Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott on set and fans took to social media to share their excitement. Within two days of the official announcement of their return, both Britton and McDermott came onto the set to film their scenes reprising their roles as Vivien and Ben Harmon.
In season 1 of American Horror Story, Vivien and Ben move into a haunted house with their daughter, Violet, played by Taissa Farmiga (also set to return). Their family went through the wringer and it’s safe to say their story is an integral part of the upcoming season–more so than we might think.
While Britton was only in season one, McDermott was also in season 2’s Asylum playing a different character. American Horror Story: Apocalypse is crossing over between Murder House and Coven with most of the major characters returning to reprise their roles. Not much information has been released regarding what season 8 will be about, but fans have begun theorizing based on the cast that is returning.
Either way, we cannot wait for the season to begin because this crossover looks epic, and even if for a few moments, we can’t wait to see Connie Britton again.
