Daredevil season 3 gets an new trailer for NYCC

Everyone is caught in the crossfire in the trailer for season 3 of Daredevil.

The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has risen and he wants vengeance against the evil taking over his city. Daredevil dropped a new trailer for season 3 before its New York Comic Con appearance this weekend which teases a new darkness seeping into his life. Of course, there’s a man behind his descent: the infamous Kingpin pulling the strings.

Right off the bat, it’s clear Daredevil season 3 is going to have a lot of impressive fight scenes. Matt is back from the dead and he no longer seems interested with playing by his own rules. He’s shed his typical costume for a simple black one and he will do anything to take down Kingpin. However, the lengths he’s willing to go are scaring the people who care about him.

Of course, there’s one problem: another Daredevil is attacking people in New York City! Kingpin is clearly orchestrating these attacks but it is turning public perception against the masked hero. So who is the man underneath the mask? The trailer doesn’t show us but we do know that he has impeccable aim. Could it be Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye suiting up? The signs certainly point in that direction.

Meanwhile, Fisk is also looking for revenge against Matt. He promises to tell the world who Daredevil really is and that he won’t forgive him for the threats last season. Does Matt ever catch a break on Daredevil?

Foggy and Karen both are seen in only glimpses throughout the trailer. The former when he reads an article about Kingpin being released while the latter trying to defend herself from the faux Daredevil. However, the big question looming over this season will be if her character arc will be the same as the Born Again comic. Is this the last we’ll be seeing of Karen Page?
