Doctor Who: David Tennant calls new season exciting

Whovians all over the world tuned in for the season 11 premiere of Doctor Who, and amongst them was ex-Doctor David Tennant who was enthusiastic about the direction the new season is taking.
Doctor Who made some major changes for season 11 and it has been all the buzz since it was announced last summer that Jodie Whittaker would be the first female Doctor on the series. This week brought the season 11 premiere and fans were more than ecstatic to see the new Doctor in action.
Amongst those watching was ex-Doctor David Tennant himself who called the new season “exciting”.
About five minutes into watching the new Doctor Who episode, Tennant was fully invested into where the story was going and just watched it as a fan. He wasn’t thinking about his personal connection to the show or that he knows Jodie or the showrunner.
Tennant was attending New York Comic-Con over the weekend to promote his Amazon show, Good Omens and got to partake in all the festivities the weekend had to offer.
Doctor Who held a panel which took place during the global simulcast of the season 11 premiere followed by a panel.
It appears that Tennant isn’t the only one who was head over heels for the new Doctor. Author Neil Gaiman took to Twitter to confess his admiration for the new season of Doctor Who.
“The Woman Who Fell to Earth” brought in 8.2 million viewers for BBC! Talk about die-hard fans that couldn’t miss a second of all the action and glory that was Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who.
