Tim Jo will recur on This is Us during Season 3
The hit NBC drama, This Is Us, continues to add new characters to the cast with each new season.
This is Us is adding another regular character to Season 3.
Tim Jo, who had first appeared on Episode 6 of the season, “Kamsahamnida,” will join the cast as a recurring actor. As we saw on the October 30th show, his character Jae-Won first appears when Randall and Kevin campaign in a Korean neighborhood within the district he’s running in.
After confronting Randall for seemingly using his brother’s popularity for votes, he wins Jae-Won over after hearing him out. He ultimately becomes Randall’s campaign manager.

NBC has not released any more information about his character; however, we can only assume with Beth joining his campaign, we will be seeing a lot of Jae-Won.
You may have caught Jo on a few other television series, including Greek as Dewey, Glory Daze as Alex Chang, The Neighbors as Reggie Jackson, and most recently, a guest spot on CBS’ SEAL Team.
This is Us not only is a critical hit, but it’s also a hit with viewers. It stars Milo Ventimiglia as Jack, the head of the Pearson clan, who dies tragically when his three kids, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall are seniors in high school. Mandy Moore plays their mother, Rebecca.
The drama series has been nominated for multiple awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series earlier this year.
