The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: Season 2 will bring changes and romances

Who is absolutely ecstatic about the second season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is returning for a second season! Finally! It feels like it’s been a very long year, and the waiting has been dreadful. But now we’re just a couple days away, and early reviews have promised that season 2 is bigger and better.

If you watched the first season of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel then you know all about what to expect. This includes Mrs. Maisel’s standup comedy, her relentless pursuit to be independent, and a whole lot of Jewish-related jokes.

And while fans know all about the sassy Mrs. Maisel and her amazing wardrobe of perfection, it appears season 2 will shake things up. In season 1, the Maisels parted ways but not in the best of ways. Midge was killing it as a stand-up comedian, but Joel was facing defeat at every corner.

We can expect things will continue to be tumultuous and confusing in the second season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel between the ex-lovebirds. If you’re asking us, it’s going to be hard for them to avoid one another seeing as how their lives are forever intertwined with their children.

Given the time period the series takes place in, the series defies the norms of female roles. Normally, it would be presumed that Midge would be a stay at home wife, or be doing something that didn’t match her intellect. However, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel goes above and beyond by giving us a character like Midge. She’s fearless, brave, and such a sassy pants that we can’t get enough of her.

Since Midge has immersed herself in the world of comedy, the impact it will have on her family and friends will be a vast one. And in season 2, we will see how it alters everyone’s life. Ahhh, so exciting isn’t it?

And if that’s not enough to have you jumping up and down, then just remember this. Season 2 heads to Paris and Zachary Levi will be in one of the episodes! Seriously, could this show get any better? Probably, but we’ll just have to wait until season 2 to find out.
