Stranger Things: Netflix gives sneak peek into season 3 episode titles!

Finally, some Stranger Things news! Netflix has officially revealed the season 3 episode titles and confirmed a 2019 premiere.
Stranger Things has been in hiatus since Oct. 2017. Can you believe that?! Considering we’re days away from the start of 2019, it’s been entirely too long. However, over the weekend, Netflix released a very exciting teaser regarding the series.
The teaser includes titles for all the season 3 episodes as well a confirmation that the series will return sometime in 2019. There is no confirmed date as of yet, but hey, at least we know the year! The revealed titles don’t give away much of anything regarding the plot and storyline of season 3. This leaves it up to us fans to dissect and figure out what each of them may mean. Or we could just wait until it comes out, that works too.
So what are the episode titles? Here’s a list of them below (and if you have any idea what they may mean, by all means, share with us!).
- Suzie, Do You Copy?
- The Mall Rats
- The Case of the Missing Lifeguard
- The Sauna Test
- The Source
- The Birthday
- The Bite
- The Battle of Starcourt
Is it us, or do some of these sound like Nancy Drew/The Hardy Boys case titles? The short teaser ends with an indication that the story will pick up in the summer of 1985. This timeline makes considering the episode titles talk about a lifeguard and the mall. After all, isn’t that what kids used to do back in the day? Spend summer days at the mall and pool.
We know nothing more than this about the upcoming third season of Stranger Things. While this is unfortunate, the release of teasers here and there can only mean it’s near. So let’s all take a collective deep breath and wait patiently. Because it will be so worth it.
