The Kominsky Method: Netflix and Warner Bros. in renewal discussions
By Wade Wainio
After winning 2 Golden Globes, the Kominsky Method’s 2nd season is in the negotiation stage.
Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin are likely to return with a second season of Netflix series The Kominsky Method. However, according to Deadline, there’s a slight discrepancy about how many episodes it will contain. While the studios wish to expand the season beyond eight episodes (like 10 or 13), star Michael Douglas would prefer doing about 8.
Whatever the episode number, The Kominsky Method will certainly continue garnering praise and awards. It recently won two Golden Globe Awards. Specifically, Michael Douglas won for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy. The show itself won for Best Television Series. It also has two nominations for the upcoming 24th Critics’ Choice Awards (January 13th).
