The Fuller, Tanner, and Gibbler will be back for one last season for a total of 13 seasons in one of television’s most successful franchises.

Did you want one last season of Fuller House? Well, you got it, dude!

Netflix has renewed a fifth season of Fuller House just about one month after its fourth season premiere. This new season of the Full House spinoff will also be its last.

Watch the announcement.

Last season, we saw fan-favorite couple D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger) finally become a couple (again) and make it work. So, my personal hope that the series will end with their wedding. It’s what the fans want and deserve!

We also saw Stephanie (Jodi Sweetin) become a mother thanks to Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), who carried the baby for Stephanie and her brother Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch). Oh, and then Stephanie and Jimmy got engaged.

But at the top of my wishlist is an appearance from the youngest Tanner sister, Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). I mean, we only need one Olsen twin to come out of retirement to make an appearance. I hope they can make that happen somehow. They’re such a tight-knit family; it seems unrealistic that the family would go this long without seeing Michelle.

Am I really discussing realism when it comes to Fuller House? Back to reality.

The Fuller House reboot kicked off this new television era of reboots. Many beloved shows have followed since its premiere in 2016, like Will & Grace, Roseanne, and Murphy Brown, and more are coming.

Fuller House season 4 recap: Best season of the reboot so far. dark. Next

Fuller House captures the nostalgia from our childhood and opens the franchise to a new, younger audience. Personally, I felt like I grew up with the Tanner girls and now I can relate to them as adults. What they’ve been able to do is remarkable. It may be corny, but there are much worse things to watch on T.V. And maybe a little cheese is good for the crazy world we live in.

I’m thrilled we get one more season of this beloved franchise. I just hope it gets the proper send-off!

If you haven’t watched season 4 yet, read my recaps. But maybe you should go back and watch season 4 on Netflix anyway.
