Dark Season 3 is coming out rather sooner than we thought, here’s everything we know about Season 3 so far.

After a year and a half long hiatus, Netflix’s Dark dropped its second season this Friday and it was even better than the first one. But it consisted of only 8 episodes and some of the fans, including myself, finished it in a day and are now wondering what is next. Don’t worry season 3,  is coming out sooner than we thought.

For those of you who don’t know, Dark is a dystopian, supernatural, time-travel thriller from Germany which debuted in 2017. People all over the world quickly fell in love with it from the premiere. And personally, I’ll go as far as to say that it is the best Netflix original show to date. Dark season 1 is described as a family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town called Winden, where the disappearance of two kids exposes the relationship among the four families at the show’s core. Dark currently has an 8.6 on IMDb, and season 2 is fresh at Rotten Tomatoes with a 100% score.

Now about Dark season 3, the show’s creator Baran do Odar already announced on his Instagram back in May that Netflix has already renewed the show for its third season.

He also revealed that the next season will be the final season and that they always had a three season arc at mind. And yes, that is a bit sad but then again quality over quantity is always better.
