Before heading back to Neptune for the Veronica Mars revival, here’s a quick refresher about the characters.

Veronica Mars went off the air in 2007 when it wrapped its third season but the last time we got to see where everyone ended up was the 2014 movie. A bit of time has passed and now it’s time to check back in with Neptune for the upcoming Hulu revival.

Warning: Major spoilers for season 1-3 and the movie!

Veronica Mars

The last time we saw Veronica, she had been pulled back into Neptune’s and Logan’s orbit to get back to her private eye ways. From the movie, we discovered that she had settled into a comfortable relationship with her college sweetheart, Piz, and moved to New York with the ambitions of becoming a successful lawyer. Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out when Veronica made the decision to stay and help Logan beat a murder charge (again).

In the Hulu series, it seems like life hasn’t been very kind to her. Yes, Veronica is still going to be her usual snappy self but Thomas promised that our favorite detective was going to face consequences for her decisions in the movie. Mainly, she’s now working paycheck-to-paycheck at her high school job while trying to pay off expensive student loans from when she attended Stanford and Columbia Law School. Also, her on-again-off-again relationship with reformed bad-boy Logan is on again!
