Veronica Mars character refresher: Who’s returning to Neptune for the revival?

Could it be Veronica Mars without Keith? Absolutely not and thankfully, Enrico Colatoni will be reprising his character for the revival. The movie didn’t get to spend much with Keith since the focus was mainly on his daughter. Nevertheless, we d id get some updates. Mainly, Keith is still working at Mars Investigations and still in Neptune.
In the film, we got to see his disappointment that Veronica would return to the life he desperately wanted her to escape from but there’s no denying that he’s probably pleased to get to see more of her. He’s still not sold on Logan compared to Piz, but they’ll undoubtedly attempt to get along. Now that Veronica is back at Mars Investigations, he’ll finally have someone to help with some of the overwhelming case work.

Logan Echolls
Rounding out the main cast this time around, Jason Dohring is back as Logan Echolls. Since Veronica Mars was canceled in season 3, we never got to see him go through the process he did to become the man from the Kickstarer film. Nevertheless, it isn’t surprising that he finally kicked some of his bad habits to become a more stable partner.
It wouldn’t be a mystery on Veronica Mars if Logan isn’t accused of murder or some kind of crime. In the movie he’s the prime suspect in his ex-girlfriend’s murder but Veronica knows he could never do such a thing. After she is able to prove his innocence and catch the true culprit, the two seem to move towards reconciliation. Now in the Navy, the revival will have Logan return for leave during spring break where he gets to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend. Not to mention from the trailers, his bromance with Dick is still as strong as ever.
