Marvel: Runaways and Cloak & Dagger are finally getting a crossover episode!
Marvel will finally have Runaways and Cloak & Dagger crossover!
Fans have been begging Marvel since Runaways debuted on Hulu to find a way to include the Cloak & Dagger duo and their request has finally been answered. Deadline reports that the Hulu series will feature a crossover episode in the upcoming season for Runaways.
There are no details yet about how exactly the two superhero teams will collide but it seems possible that the teenage runaways need to ask for help to rescue their friends. Season 3 is meant to be focused on saving Karolina, Gert, and Chase. However, we also know that Nico will be pulling her friends into a dark dimension, which is ruled by Morgan Le Fay (played by newcomer Elizabeth Hurley), so maybe Tyrone can help out there.
In the Marvel comics, Cloak and Dagger do meet with the Runaways for a bit. The PRIDE parents set up their kids as murderers which sets Cloak and Dager on the hunt. That storyline has already been done on Runaways so it’s unlikely this will be how the crossover happens.
Luckily, season 2 of Cloak & Dagger ended with Tyrone and Tandy leaving New Orleans to help people in the rest of the country. Hopefully after they meet the California based team, the two will be willing to come back for another team-up!

Jeph Loeb released a statement about how excited Marvel is to finally do the crossover event between the two shows.
